Dreamt of going for a run outside without shoes. The concrete was a little slippery under my socks, but it felt good to stretch my legs. At first they felt heavy like they often do in dreams, but I worked hard to stretch out my stride. I ran along a path that took me through a graveyard overcrowded with mausoleums and giant head stones.
Another runner was coming down a path that joined mine. He looked me right in the eye then very intentionally cut me off, breaking my stride and almost tripping me, then headed off in the direction I was going. Once I regained my pace, I quickly caught up to and passed him just as the path was curving. I ended up cutting him off in return. I didn’t do it out of spite or revenge. I just held my pace and my ground.
Dreamt I needed to return home from downtown Rochester and discovered that I could fly. I felt the wind pushing sharply into the soles of me feet. It was a strong feeling, but not unpleasant. My airspeed was slow, but I had great maneuverability. All along my flight path people were looking up and pointing in amazement. I waved back at them.
“Sir!” I heard a voice from behind me, “I can fly now, too!”
I see David M. being pushed by the wind under his feet, too, and being lifted free of the ground.
Dreamt of walking from my house to downtown Rochester with Zach B. as we discussed where to eat for lunch. My first suggestion was Twig’s, but Zach said it was a little out of his price range. “Would you rather eat somewhere fast food?” I asked.
“That’s what I can afford,” he answered.
“Well, there’s no fast food within walking distance. How about I pay?”
“That would be agreeable.”
Dreamt that I and about twenty other new YouTubers had been invited to join the Hermitcraft server based on the quality of our previous videos and Minecraft skills. We all met in person with the current Hermits — including Mumbo Jumbo, Xisumavoid, and Ethoslab — for introductions. I brought the new intro I’d recorded with the help of Zach B. and everyone was very impressed. But they were also a little worried. “You became famous by playing Minecraft while drinking,” they said, “Do you plan on playing on the server while drunk?”
“I don’t plan to,” I answered, “But sometimes things happen…”
